Insurance was never on Sarah’s radar of career choices when she left school but over 30 years later, she is still passionate about her role in the industry.

Starting with Eagle Star/Zurich, Sarah was trained in all classes of claims, both domestic and commercial. She then spent many years adjusting for both a large residential insurer and a major loss adjusting company.

Sarah’s final chapter as an insurance manager for a speciality property broker taught her the importance of the bigger picture; how the right claim spend and customer satisfaction play a large part in customer retention. As part of the Qlaims team Sarah ensures we put the customer at the heart of their claims journey and with the technology onboard, keep premium impacts to a minimum.

On a personal note, Sarah feels lucky to live in beautiful Christchurch and can usually be found sipping a coffee or gin (sometimes both) relaxing by the sea, watching her two Spaniels charging around on the beach.
