Qlaims Launches After The Event Services to Brokers
Qlaims announces today that it has extended its claims assistance to provide After the Event (ATE) services to its brokers. Responding to the recent poor weather and the demand from brokers to help their clients with their insurance claims, the company has launched ATE services.
Liz Latter, CEO said, “We want to provide a complete service to our brokers. By offering our professional claims services to their clients who have not purchased a loss recovery policy, we are now able to reach more individuals and business when they need help with their insurance claims.”
Qlaims is an independent, privately owned Insurtech MGA that provides cover to private clients and businesses. Qlaims provides both its insured (Before the Event) and now ATE professional services, through a combination of its inhouse and panel customer facing adjusters, giving it national claims coverage.
Jon Newall, who stepped down as Chairman of Lockyer Insurance in 2020 and is to launch his own new venture in early 2023 said, “I have always been a great supporter of loss recovery insurance and Qlaims. I like their modern approach. I know from experience though that some clients, and often those who have not had a larger claim, do not choose to take this cover. Now that Qlaims is offering an ATE service means I can provide the same great service across all my clients.”
Alex Paton, Claims Manager at Ascend Broking added “Certainly their (Qlaims) assistance with claims will prove imperative at the present time. We have so many struggles with all Insurers.”
Liz went on to say, “during surge events, and we are seeing more and more of these, insurers do struggle with the demand. We are able to support clients with triage and loss mitigation and then assist them through their claim. This has clear benefits to all.”
