Qlaims Joins Cobra Network

MGA, Qlaims, today announces that it has become a panel partner for PIB owned Cobra Network. Qlaims provides UK businesses and consumers an insurance policy to cover the cost of their own FCA registered, independent claims expert to prepare, manage and negotiate property damage claim(s), including associated business interruption. Qlaims uses technology to support its services providing for a digitally enhanced customer experience.

Under the arrangement, Cobra Network brokers can access Qlaims Insurance for both their commercial and homeowner clients, as well as bespoke rates for schemes and portfolios.

Qlaims’ Chief Executive Officer, Liz Latter said: “Our proposition enables brokers to offer an enhanced claims service to their clients, which really helps them compete with the large broking groups and their client service offerings.  We’re delighted to be working with the Network”.

Matt Duffy Sales Director at Protect Commercial, a member of the Cobra Network and an existing Qlaims broker explained, “We partnered with Qlaims a few years ago. As an Insurance Broker who doesn’t deal with claims in house and at a time when we were suffering from poor claims service from insurers, we knew we had to do something. As a modern, forward thinking and innovative broker we wanted to partner with a company who had a similar culture, which put the customer first and innovated to improve customer service. Our experience of working with Qlaims has been excellent and the feedback on their modern technology led solution has been first rate. I’m pleased that Qlaims has joined Cobra and their services are available to my colleague members”.

In the event of a claim, Qlaims uses its QlaimStream software, a video-streaming technology, to provide rapid support and triage for brokers’ clients. All of their claims are held on QlaimsTrak, a secure portal that allows brokers, and their clients, to see the status, and correspondence on claims 24/7. Ultimately this supports fast loss mitigation actions and an improved service, all aimed at reducing the claim timeline and improving customer outcomes.
